Getting in stride

Whatever  you do, start moving – get in motion.  There is no fitness without physical movement.  It is not, however, about dropping flat on your face after a workout – it is all about taking small steps that will increase energy, performance and overall physical health. Motion can be created doing numerous activities – from walking to running, from swimming to climbing. Breathing creates motion – and yes, there are correct ways to breathe as well.

HelpGetFit was created with you in mind. We want to deliver the key elements to getting fit in one place. Motion, nutrition and motivation are the driving forces which will help you get fit.

The category of Motion is broken down into subcategories which with time will expand, featuring new elements. To start getting in motion, I recommend Running. It is an activity that anyone can do. In what capacity, that is a different matter. Running does not need to be at a pace Usain Bolt runs, actually, unless you want to be a professional sprinter, you will not benefit from running at such a pace. But you can read about that in the posts featured there. Just click here!

Next key motion subcategory is Core Exercises. Core exercises are key in any activity and everyday life. You’d be amazed what you could achieve by spending 5 to 10 minutes per day doing core exercises like planks or kettlebell throws. Check them out here: Core Exercises.

Sometimes, to get in motion, we need equipment. Running with ankle weights, kettlebell throws or weights at the gym. Again, there are correct ways to do each exercise and here we will try to bring you tips from experts in each field. See posts about this category here!

The last motion subcategory features Stretching. It is very important when you stretch and how you stretch to prevent injuries and get the maximum from you exercises. Stretching does not have to be boring, it can be a very dynamic activity, example being the 100 Up Exercise. Click here for more!

Whatever physical activity you choose to do to get yourself in motion, make sure to try to find ways to do each activity correctly so you can benefit from it for years to come.
In the words of Anthony Robbins, “Motion creates emotion!” So get in motion and start living your life to the fullest!
